Dinklet text alerts

Effective date: November 2, 2026

Dinklet can text you the few alerts that can't wait: a game you joined was cancelled, a spot opened for you on a waitlist, or someone invited you to a game. Text alerts are optional and are off until you turn them on. Dinklet is operated by The One Perfect Solution LLC, Gilbert, Arizona.

How you join

1. Open the Dinklet app and go to Me → Settings → Notifications → Text me about.
2. Tap Add phone, enter your US mobile number and tick the box that agrees to receive the texts below.
3. We text you a one-time code. Enter it to confirm the number is yours.
4. Choose which alerts you want. Each one is off until you switch it on.

The agreement you tick reads: "Text me about game invitations, cancellations and waitlist spots. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of using Dinklet." We keep the time and the wording you agreed to.

This is the Dinklet text alerts screen. The box is not ticked until you tick it, and you can't continue without it.

What we send

Only the alerts you switched on, and only about games and events you joined or were invited to. We never send advertising or promotions by text, and we never text you about chat messages. Message frequency varies with your activity, usually a few messages a month.

Examples:

• "Dinklet: Game cancelled. Saturday Open Play at Freestone Park was cancelled. Reply STOP to opt out."
• "Dinklet: A spot opened for you. You're in Thursday League. Reply STOP to opt out."

Cost

Dinklet does not charge for text alerts. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

How to stop, and how to get help

• Stop: reply STOP to any text. You get one confirmation and no more texts. You can also remove your number in the app under Notifications.
• Start again: reply START, then switch the alerts you want back on in the app.
• Help: reply HELP, or email support@dinklet.com.

Your information

We use your phone number only to send the alerts you chose and to confirm the number is yours. We do not share mobile information, including phone numbers and opt-in consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Our text message provider, Twilio, sends the messages for us. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
